Her coalition is Obama’s. Bernie wanted Obama primaried and they remember. The coalition should be consolidated, expanded and passed to the next strong Democratic candidate. And woe betide those who see this as party favouritism or elitism.

Exactly. I mean for all the complaints about the DNC’s actions towards Bernie this primary. I think it was pretty generous of them to let him run as a Democrat in the first place seeing as he hasn’t been a Democrat for his career. I mean yes he caucuses with them but he has never been an active member of the Democratic party. I think they really feel Bernie’s got the most progressive record and he’s got lesser known baggage nationally so ergo he’s the best candidate. Uh no guys.
