I keep getting phone calls from “restricted” numbers on my cell, which likely means that it’s D phone banking (and I’m guessing for Ossoff, because I’ve answered one once). Twice a day. Like clockwork.

I wish I could give the Democratic party a little bit of feedback. Two things.

1) I do not make phone donations. Ever. Not for any cause. Not for any reason. Speaking to me doesn’t change my mind on that, and I hate feeling like an asshole because I know the other person is donating their time. Let’s save both of us the hassle and let me mark myself as “will not donate over the phone.” You can send me more mail or e-mail or whatever in return. We’ll both be happier.

2) I really don’t care that my phone number has an east coast area code. The address you have on file for me is west coast. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, you should consider THAT when deciding what time of day it is appropriate to call. (Somewhat related rant: if you do wrist notifications, you should also HONOR THE DO NOT DISTURB MODE AS SET ON THE PHONE DAMMIT.)
