Oh, lordy. So Trump agrees with the last person to catch his ear, and his fans agree with whatever he says? Just objectively, this is getting nuttier and nuttier. And the scariest implication is that when (if) Mueller reveals proof of prosecutable criminal actions, and Republicans in Congress are so frustrated that they actually impeach him, then the fans will stick with the shit, even if (as would then be likely) the Senate convicted him.

I don’t want to jump the gun here, but there is scary stuff ahead of us either way.

IMO there are two possibilities that would cause Congressional Republicans to get serious about impeaching tr*mp:

1) Polling for tr*mp among Republicans in their state or district goes unfavorable.

2) tr*mp screws up the GOP tax cut.

It looks like #1 is simply not going to happen, so I’m reduced to hoping that tr*mp makes a mess of taxes.
