Even when nothing goes seriously wrong, we do not have a good answer to how to dispose of all that stuff that becomes radioactive, nor the spent fuel rods. That stuff? It’s a lot of it. Every metal or liquid that gets near the fuel or reaction becomes a mess.

I don’t sound like it but I’m a proponent of nuclear power. Some of that climate change money will be spent to try and solve this one. And yes there are designs being tested that look much better than Three Mile Island or San Onofre.
