Well, that’s not entirely true— the part about ‘no matter how Democrats legislate’. Black voter turnout is attuned in a lot of ways to specific voting that affects them. Democrats really have passed a lot of legislation helpful to minority groups. It’s not just that the GOP does crappy shit to minorities sometimes, it’s also that the Democrats really do represent minority interests, as well. And I think it’s definitely a quid-pro-quo, as well.
