Democrats have internalized the notion that America doesn’t really agree with them, so not winning is seen as the natural order of things. Until that changes (ahem), we have a tough hill to climb.

I thought what a lot of Democrats believe is that America agrees with their stances, but will never vote for a dirty liberal to get them done.
