I’m not sure they know what Cicero meant by “rhetoric.” The meaning has changed over the last two millennia.

Isn’t Rhetoric just another word for speaking an argument? I think Trump is fantastic at speaking in monosyllabic sound bites. That’s not puff it’s his attraction to 5th grade mindsets.
