Actually, it appears that Rick Scott has been surprisingly useful as FL governor with respect to Hurricane Irma so far. Most unusual for a Republican elected official.

Rick Scott is a criminal who should have been sent to prison for his financial wrongdoing but he did successfully run a large corporation. He is smart and knowledgeable, just not ethical. He knows how to look good on TV, just not how to do the right things. He appears to be a climate change denier; I wouldn’t applaud his performance or usefulness in his role unless he publicly announces a change in heart and urges the country to do something about climate change
