I’ve met a number of people over the years whose view of Christianity has been shaped by exposure to “Christians”, and it really bothers me that this is becoming the prevailing view, because those “Christians” are SO LOUD.

Between a Catholic upbringing and being exposed to Campus Crusade for Christ as a young adult, I developed a near-total disdain for any form of Christianity.

It took a long time for me to encounter people who were just quietly but sincerely Christian in their beliefs, attitudes and actions.

Not enough to convert me, but I am a lot more accepting and tolerant of the religion as a result.
