I have loved musicals forever. I was raised on musical soundtracks.(My dad saw some of the most famous musicals live on Broadway, including Funny Girl with Babs!!!) Finally saw a musical on Broadway in 2008. I Have seen so many though, professional and not so professional productions.

Uh. Well, I avoided Hamilton because I thought it would be stupid or boring?

Dear God, It’s absolutely amazing.

Why did I resist???

It is So SO good. I’m jealous as hell of everyone who has gotten to see the live stage show.

Welp, you’ll be double super jealous of me because I saw Barbra in Funny Girl AND Hamilton on Broadway. (Also, Audra McDonald in Ragtime and in Carousel; Bernadette Peters in Song and Dance and in Annie Get Your Gun; Oliver with Davy Jones as the Artful Dodger; Blood Brothers with Sean and David Cassidy; original cast of Rent and many more.) When I lived in NY (3 painful high school years on Long Island) I went to the city every chance I got and my love of theater never waned, so every trip to NY or London, I try to see as many shows as I can.
