It’s a freaking scripted television show—it’s not a required activity. I watched about 3 episodes, didn’t care for it, and promptly forgot all about it. It had and has absolutely zero affect on my life. Why, if you find it so annoying, do you watch it at all?

Exactly that. I don’t have enough time for the things that I do like, I can’t see wasting it on the things that I don’t.
