Thousands of customers have accused Belk of playing politics with the decision to drop the line, which is owned by President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka.

Her line of merchandise was targeted last fall by the #GrabYourWallet campaign. The effort urges people to boycott stores that do business with the Trump family. As of Thursday morning, Belk remained on the organization’s list of companies to boycott.
