I’ve always found the unseen character to be a cool device, when used within reason. But this particular student, well, she’s sort of a literal type person, so it sort of bugs her when she can’t see the person being talked about. She needs to see it.

I guess at the very least, now she’ll picture Shelley Duvall when she’s watching Frasier and Maris’ name comes up, LOL.
