re: #295 Blind Frog Belly White
When I watched âLast of the Mohicansâ, it was so hard to believe that Cecil from âA Room With A Viewâ was Hawkeye. Then I saw him in âGangs of New Yorkâ, and he was neither one of them.
Yeah, I know. Itâs called âActingâ. But most actors, you always see the commonality between roles. Oldman and Lewis, you donât.
As an aside, Mrs. FBW and I have been enjoying âA Series Of Unfortunate Eventsâ on Netflix, with Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf. We were comparing his performance with Jim Carreyâs Count Olaf from the movie. Carreyâs Count Olaf is really hard to see in each of the characters he pretends to be, but in Harrisâs, itâs always obviously the same guy. But you see, Count Olaf is supposed to be a BAD actor, so he SHOULD always be obviously Count Olaf, except to all the stupid adults around the Beaudelaires.
Daniel Plainview is one of the most fascinating characters in modern film, to me.
