It is interesting because I remember when I first started loosely following politics watching CSPAN with my Grandma as a little kid in the early 90’s, you had two Dem senators and even Ben Nelson into the Obama years.

I’m not sure what happened: complacency, focusing on urban areas over rural areas, I don’t know.

We divide our electoral votes; President Obama captured NE-2 in 2008.
