Ron Paul with Neil Cavuto (and this is not the only time he’s been on the show):

I agree with those who have already posted above; Cavuto should not be giving credibility to a person with Ron Paul’s negatives. I have avoided reading or listening to Paul due to his negatives.

I must say that listening to him speak with Cavuto he made sense and was rational (in that clip only); if I didn’t know his negatives I would have formed a favorable opinion of him. This actually makes it doubly disappointing Cavuto gives him the air time so Paul can connect with a populace who may not know his unacceptable negatives.

This only serves to associate rational conservative/libertarian talking points regarding fiscal discipline with the dangerous fringes and is most unhelpful. Some rational letters expressing the basis for disappointment need to be written to Cavuto so he doesn’t (or his producers don’t) make the mistake again.
