Because we are unlikely to get people to agree on gun policy, how about we work on developing a “mass shooters are pathetic weaklings” meme?
Anyone, including me, could go shoot a bunch of unarmed people. Using a gun like that doesn’t make you a special, powerful person-it is in many ways an admission that you aren’t strong enough to cope without using a weapon as a crutch.

I don’t think it’s about power, in that sense, when these mass shootings happen. I think it’s more along the lines of the endpoint of depression where a person has absolutely no ability to cope with their own demons, and decides that if they can’t be happy, then nobody else deserves to be. Weapons just give these people a much more efficient tool to carry out their plans to, in a sense, take as many people with them as possible.

Just my .02$ anyway.
