Your personal data is only as secure as the weakest link.

It could be the bank you have your funds in.
It could be the supermarket where you buy your food.
It could be the department store or big box store.

Or it could be your twitter, instagram, facebook, or other social media site.

Stealing selfies (nudes or otherwise) is still theft. Those responsible should be prosecuted, just as anyone hacking in and getting bank account or other personal information should.

Strong password protection will help only so much - but if businesses aren’t going to (or can’t) protect data on their end…

And if, for example, one used 1Password for the Apple password, well, that doesn’t help at all if someone is circumnavigating through password reset/recovery.
