I’ve long believed that some form of single payer health insurance is ultimately the best way to go. But these people who think we can just go there right now are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land. There’s way too much invested in the current system to just la dee da, switch over and everything will be groovy!

Even if we forget the political problems - the GOP will fight TOOTH AND NAIL against this - there are massive current insurance systems set up that we’re not going to just wish into the cornfield.

Agree 100 percent. It was even with bernie when he was running for the candidacy. I said “I like his ideas but lets be realistic, Hillary is the best candidate.”

You would not believe the amount of shit I got for that.
