My first wife was a big fan of these contrived mushroom soup recipes. I couldn’t stand the stuff so I tried telling her that mushrooms are closely related to Athlete’s Foot, both being fungi. She didn’t buy it and just went right on making the slop right to the end of her life for all I know. I just hope she didn’t poison my grandchildren with it.
