It looks like the hot-spot of C19 in California is in the conservative-mafia controlled county of Orange. 6500 out of 11,000 total cases in the state. (59%)

That’s a misprint, OC only has 656 cases. LA county has over 4k. It is notable that OC has more cases and deaths than San Francisco, which locked down much earlier and had cases earlier.
