Odd that you’ve got view. Comments generally meander from their original point pretty quickly across sites - regardless of whether they’re monitored or not but some websites tend to develop their own netiquette, and there are some things that LGFers have generally held to:
Keep on topic through at least the first 100 posts. Spinoffs/links/pages were developed to let the main post going off on a tangent and giving more space for posters to get other subjects discussed.
Try to keep attacks from getting personal;
Avoid the trolls - and know how to distinguish ‘em from posters who merely have a different POV;
Have fun; and
Maybe learn something…
