House votes 241-180 to pass $51-billion Sandy disaster relief bill.

That’s the 3rd of 3 votes that bring the House up to the Senate bill level.

These same GOPers who were claiming fiscal responsibility and that they demand offsets elsewhere will be absolutely silent when the next inevitable natural disaster hits their district and they demand immediate action.

By Sandy standards as adopted by the hypocritical GOP, we must now take at least 70 days to contemplate the needs, break it out in to at least three bills, question every last dollar spent on projects associated with any natural disaster program, and then demand offsets from programs we deem less important (and I leave it up to the room to discuss which of those are less important).

Oh, and vote no and leave the affected region squirming so that they have just enough votes to pass.
