The 10/22 looks like it’s a ‘concealable’ with the carbine length and folding stock.

But the compact isn’t? As long as it meets minimum length with the stock extended it passes current federal law. California makes you measure with the stock folded, a state court ruling I never quite understood since it’s pretty hard to hit anything if you’re not aiming from the shoulder.
