They fought died on the orders they were given. They certainly removed a deadly horrible tyrant. The right or wrong of that is not on them.

The right or wrong of it is on the administration that lied us into war and who ordered an invasion under false pretenses. They’re the ones with a whole lot to answer for, not the troops who only did their jobs.

Iraq got a shot at whatever they chose for governance. At some point what the Iraqis do now is on them not us.

Yeah, but we’re the ones who put them in that position in the first goddamn place by invading and destablizing their country under false pretenses. That’s entirely on us, not them.
