Thank you. I’ve been cringing a bit at the scent of racism that emits even though understand the motivation behind it.

I’m not sure that racism is the driving force here. People emphasized Hussein because they thought there was something wrong and inherently negative about it. In Haley’s case, those people bringing up Nikki Haley’s birth name don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, Nikki Haley apparently does.
