She suffers from the same delusions as most if not all NeverTrump Republicans, that the Republican Party was about small government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, responsible regulation, and encouraging entrepreneurship. They think that’s what drew the white working class to Reagan and the GOP, and conveniently forget “Welfare Queens” and “Young bucks buying T-bone steaks with food stamps”. And they all can’t or won’t deal with the fact that the Republican electorate loves Trump like they’ve loved no other GOP President, because it was never about small government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, responsible regulation, and encouraging entrepreneurship.

It’s race. It’s always been race.
