I think it’s under appreciated that you can get re-infected by covid. Having the bug will not stop you from getting it again 12 or so months down the line. We’ve seen re-infections out in the wild, and we see re-infection for coronaviruses in general.

“Natural immunity” isn’t going to save them….

Again, it goes back to people thinking that once they’ve had the disease, they’re immune for life. The media haven’t really reported on reinfections, but it seems obvious to me, on the face of it, that there is an appreciably large subset of the unvaccinated community that got sick in 2020 from the original variant, and is now getting sick again in 2021 from the Delta variant. I would love to see some statistics on this, because I’m guessing it’s not insignificant.
