Now lawhawk, you know better. Their “compassion” is in kicking those people off UI, because it’s holding them down, keeping them from getting out there and finding a new job. Yeah, so what if there’s 3 applicants to every 1 job opening, surely there’s some jobs out there that they can work 2 or 3 at a time to make ends meet. It’ll be better for them in the long run, finding a backbreaking job in their twilight years to cover the gap between today and when Medicare and SS kick in.
