I just remember when the torture came out in the Bush years. All that rationalizing. All that rationalizing for things that would have horrified and rightfully so if we knew the Taliban, Al Queda, insurgents, or anyone was doing to our guys. I remember reading about Japanese treatment of Allied POWs in WWII and it horrified me. I get that we weren’t saints then either but damn.
