My point is if Moore’s excusers try to say it happened so long ago, never mind, then some are going to try do the same for Takei.

And, if we allow Moore’s accusers recollections of 30 years to be used, then those Takei users should be allowed the same.

Just trying to keep it all fair for all parties.

In many ways this is all like the issues in rape cases. The victim is subject to question and doubt and is battered by the process to where they want nothing to do with the process and back out of carrying on. Then the accused gets off and they and their supporters can try to say it was all a setup to bring down someone innocent.

I think you misunderstood me. I wasn’t dismissing Takei’s accuser because it happened a long time ago. I merely stated that memory can be faulty. I was actually referring to people he may have talked to after the incident. That said, yeah the accusations should be taken seriously.
