I remember having that sort of discussion with some serious wholesale crystal vendors in Santa Fe, NM in the 80’s.

I explained that I had studied crystallography and crystal chemistry and was familiar with the basic principles of how they work, and asked it they could please describe these various forms of crystal “energy” in terms of what goes in, what comes out and what happens to it in between those points?

That was just too prosaic and limited for them…

Oh, the ex was into crystal energy, too. And those shops mark up their wares astronomically high for the yuppie New Age types with more money than sense.
