It’s one ranking below the double black trails, which are to the right of the photo.

Gnarly Knob isn’t a trail, it’s just a spot to pick a line down the double blacks. The view is very airy up there, you can see all the way to the valley floor and can look about five miles down the valley. I don’t know why they only painted a single diamond.

Wait? There’s double blacks? Is it something like with a snowmobile and one or two S&R people parked at the end, and the lower third of the trail(s) is marked with more and more smelly brown streaks the further the ski season progresses?
