That’s a fun (and necessarily distracting, for the moment) game: who would you want to play your inauguration?

My list, in no particular order:

Jimmy Buffett (just not the national anthem, after what he did to it at the Saints-Rams game)
Beyonce (just watched her Coachella movie on Netflix and damn, she can put on a show)
Brian Setzer (especially if we can get a little swing going)
Valley Queen (a band that I saw one night at a small venue in Long Beach that has since shown up here on the tiny desk series - would love giving a little band “nobody’s heard of” that kind of big break)
