You know how it is, if anything that kind of emotion has faded surprisingly well over the last few years. People love to hold onto outrage and hate, and its taken us (as a nation) nearly a decade to become rational again after 9/11.

I can understand the feelings blind rage & hatred in the immediate aftermath as I felt a good deal of it myself. I can also understand lingering fear, mistrust, resentment and anger. But to me crap like that 5 years after the fact is more indicative of innate bigotry—i.e. opportunistic haters using the nation’s pain as an excuse to spew their filth. It’s despicable.
