That’s why the sharia/Islamic nation thing isn’t a big deal in itself. If America, as a Christian nation, had a panel of appointed priests checking the bible to make sure legislation has god’s approval then we’ve stepped into theocracy.

We have a lot of laws that are only on the books because of Christianity, though.

We just don’t really have the guts to acknowledge it much.
