It is not all due to broken homes. Sometimes it is part of growing up in certain homes. Also it can be a peer pressure identifying with a group for a person with no self esteem.

And sometimes it is just plain allowing your bigotry to run amuck.

I mentioned a couple times here about my oldest brother losing his mind over Bill Clinton being elected and then saying to me when he found out I did vote for Big Bill that the n-words and the gays were taking over the world and he was considering looking into Aryan Nations.

I can guarantee you we had no such a thing as a broken home. But he is a bigot and he did hang out with some bubba-types that thought that way too and he glommed onto the thinking.

He never did join as far as I know, because after that little episode I stayed away from ever discussing anything of a similar nature with him.

He was always prone to being over-the-top because he was always physically imposing and pushed his size around.

In 1963 he was 6’ 7” tall and weighed 275 lbs. No fat…just huge. There were not tons of people that size running around back then and in the smallish town we all grew up in he may have been the biggest. So, no one should ever question him on anything.

Ever!
