Fair enough. But the earliest Roman reference to Jesus is from Tacitus, where he’s referred to as “Christus” and that was written around 115 C.E.
Nothing really contemporary from Jesus’ lifetime, but then again, I concede it’s entirely possible that any such records have been lost to history.
2 different issues.
1. Should the All-Star Gospel Jesus have been mentioned in the surviving external records? Not necessarily, but very probably yes.
2. Should the actual (if he existed) historical end-times prophet, of which there were dime a dozen, have been mentioned any significant external records? Nah.
