No, things are not equal in partisanship today.

One side: the earth was created 6,000 years ago, dinosaurs never existed, and any attempt to have people collaborate and work together to achieve things they cannot do alone is the work of Satan.

The other side: maybe people who benefit massively from civilization should throw a few extra percent in the pot to help sustain said civilization (oh, and dinosaurs did actually exist).
