Agh I don’t even want to think about that. that was a tough night for me. That was the end of my days as an idealist.

I’m so sad to hear that. For me it was just another in a series of crushing defeats, but if it’s any consolation, I’m old, and yet I still have some optimism left (hey, I live in South Carolina and still believe we might elect a Democratic governor!)
