You can almost envision the strategy meetings around the “October surprise” and how they would coordinate to blow it up on FB and Twitter. That’s why they’re pissed off: “we had a plan to get this misinformation out and now we’ve been thwarted! You have to let us spread disinformation! That was our plan!”

And their Plan B seems to be to try to gin up “outrage” over being thwarted, hoping that will become THE story.
And Plan C, of course, is a variation of LBJ’s old “pigfucking” strategy: desperately trying to have to “make them deny it”…..
