Calling the NPS a goon squad is reprehensible and disrespectful of these hard working and dedicated folks who are preserving the nation’s natural beauties.

Not just preserving the natural beauties of the country. If you get hurt doing some adventuring in these potentially dangerous wild lands, it’s the park rangers who have to come rescue you. They put their own lives on the line to help people who fell down a mountain, or got caught in bad weather, or had an unlucky encounter with a grizzly bear.

And they’re being called goons by the mouth-breathing thugs who are throwing a tantrum over the fact that a black man has been elected to the Presidency twice.

Little about the shutdown is getting me upset, but the teabagger thuggery towards the NPS has my blood boiling.
