Too bloody right!! Back when the Bush Administration was in full swing and doing stupid stuff left and right, I said I felt like I was trapped in a car with a friend who’d had too many drinks but insisted on driving, and who just laughed every time I pointed out hazards.

NOW I feel like I’m trapped on a bus with a maniac at the wheel, speeding toward the edge of a cliff over a 1000 foot drop into molten lava.

Reminds me of my favorite Thomas Jefferson quote:

Being an atheist is like being the only sober person in the car and they won’t let you drive.
