This is bonkers. People don’t really pay attention to SCOTUS nominations and just sort of default to “yes.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a SCOTUS nominee underwater before.

I can only guess that this has to do with people remembering what McConnell and the GOP did to Obama’s nominee.
