As noted in that thread, it wasn’t just high school journalists.

Every official and teacher from every Kentucky school district was also barred. The event was actually for so-called school choice advocates and a Koch-sponsored group to plump for charter schools to the Kentucky folks in charge of education.

It’s very undemocratic so par the course.
