I always wonder why people can’t tell the difference in a common honey bee versus a yellow jacket wasp. Not knowing the difference can be painful. Yellow jackets have to be the biggest pain in the ass as far as the wasp family just by their sheer numbers and actions. At least that is how it seems here in Ohio. They are legion!

Mud daubers and I don’t get along. Every house I have lived in, except the apartment in Wyoming, hosted mud daubers. And we have wasps in China, too. Their stings burn at first, then the affected area turns numb.
