I’d rather face the risk of Trump. If he somehow wins, and assuming that it also means the GOP keeps both houses of Congress there is a slight chance that Trump will buck the party and potentially veto some of the more reactionary social legislation Congress will start dumping out. With President Cruz in the Oval Office it’s obvious that nothing will get vetoed.

Trump’s social issues are weird. One minute, he praises PP and the other he says we’re going to defund it.
