I’m the linguistic moron in my family. Two siblings live in Germany. Second one went to visit the first one knowing no German. A year later, she was teaching German to immigrants. In Germany. First one works as a translator in 5 languages. So good, he got co-author credit for a book on computer languages. Another brother teaches at the university level in Spanish, in Bogota.
