Ain’t if funny how the careers of most of these ‘provocateurs’ have been spectacular flameouts?

Like an “edgy” comedian, their careers generally follow one of two paths: They remain relevant for a short time until people get tired of their act and they fade away or they try to remain relevant by ratcheting up the edginess until they say/do something that goes over that edge and they suffer rapid-onset career fatigue.
