In my state, a 3 strikes state, the prisons are overcrowded, and are early-releasing nonviolent offenders, anyway, thanks to cons and their idiotic penny pinching.

The idea of 3 strikes might appeal to the emotions of some trigger-happy con sitting around in some out of state gated community, but it’s no deterrent.

If the perp is in prison that perp is deterred. That was my only comment.
